Duration and Language of Study:

• The study duration for Human Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Engineering is **five years**. For all other specialties, the duration is **four years**.
• The language of instruction in scientific specialties is **English** (for practical sessions) and Arabic (for lectures). Humanities are taught entirely in **Arabic**.

Admission Requirements and Acceptance Rates:

The student must pass the core subjects and meet the following minimum acceptance rates for the desired field:

Application and Registration Fees (Paid once in the first year):

• **E-Application Fee:** $172 USD, paid upon submission.
• **Final Registration Fee:** $1822 USD (must be paid within 14 days of initial acceptance). This includes $1500 registration fee, $172 file opening fee, and $150 expat club fee.
• **Old Certificates Fee:** $300 USD for each past year of the high school certificate.

**Important Note for Sudanese Students:** Sudanese students benefit from a **70% discount** on the total annual tuition fees mentioned above across all Egyptian governmental universities, paying only 30%.

For Initial Online Registration:

• Copy of the High School Certificate.
• Qudrat/Tahseely Certificates (for Saudi certificate holders).
• Copy of the Birth Certificate.
• Copy of the student's passport.
• Passport-size photo with white background (4x6).

To Finalize Acceptance and Obtain Final Approval:

• High School Certificate authenticated by the Ministry of Education, Foreign Affairs, and the Egyptian Embassy/Consulate.
• Valid passport copy.
• 6 passport-size photos.
• Official extract of the Birth Certificate.

Required Documents for Application:

• Copy of the Bachelor's degree and transcripts.
• Copy of the Master's degree and transcripts (for PhD applicants).
• Equivalence of Bachelor's/Master's Certificates (must be completed for final acceptance).
• Copy of the student's passport and a passport-size photo (4x6).
• **For Final Approval:** Bachelor's/Master's certificates and transcripts must be authenticated by the student's Foreign Ministry and the Egyptian Embassy.

Certificate equivalence is only required for degrees obtained outside of Egypt.

Certificate Equivalence Fees (Paid to the Supreme Council of Universities):

• **Bachelor's Degree (Governmental, Regular Attendance):** 50 EGP.
• **Bachelor's Degree (Private/Ahli or Governmental, Non-Regular):** $300 USD.
• **Master's Degree Equivalence:** $400 USD.

Required Documents for Bachelor's Degree Equivalence:

• Original Bachelor's degree certificate and an official true copy.
• Original Bachelor's degree transcripts and an official true copy.
• Internship/Experience Certificate (for Doctors) or Practice Certificate (for Nursing).
• Passport copy.

**Authentication Note:** All certificates and transcripts must be authenticated by the student's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, followed by the Egyptian Embassy, Consulate, or Cultural Office in the student's country.
